THE MANUAL FLOW
Start with the review in front of you. The draft is yours to shape, and publishing remains a deliberate choice.
Authorize Google access, then choose the RankTalon company you want to work with.
Select an accessible Google location that is connected, active, and assigned to that company.
Bring available reviews into the inbox. Review the full set of ratings before deciding what to do.
Ask RankTalon for a draft suggestion for an individual review. A suggestion is a starting point, not a finished answer.
Read the review and revise the draft so the response reflects your business and what you want to say.
Publishing is an explicit step. RankTalon sends the reply to Google only after you choose to publish it.
OPTIONAL BATCH WORKFLOW
This separate workflow processes unanswered reviews in sequence using the first generated suggestion. It applies different handling by rating so lower or unspecified ratings stay for human approval.
Unanswered reviews rated 3–5 stars are replied to using the first suggestion, one at a time, with a five-second wait between replies.
Reviews rated 2 stars or lower pause the run until a person approves and publishes the reply. This includes an unspecified rating, represented as 0.
You can stop a run at any time. A generation or publishing error stops the run.
ACCESS, COVERAGE & COST
RankTalon requests the business.manage permission for Google Business Profile. Your Google account permissions and API availability determine which profiles and locations can be connected; access to every profile is not guaranteed.
A location must be connected, active, accessible, and assigned to the selected RankTalon company before its reviews can be managed.
RankTalon requests reviews in pages of 50 and currently stops importing at approximately 5,000 reviews per location. Not every historical review will necessarily be available.
AI suggestions can be imperfect. Read and edit each reply as needed; RankTalon does not promise a flawless response.
One credit is charged for each reply Google accepts. If publishing fails, the reserved credit is returned.
