DPK: turning a website scan into a practical review list
An example from DPK's saved RankTalon website audit, showing page-level findings and a practical list of issues to review.
DPK: turning a website scan into a practical review list
Driveway and Patio Kent offers driveway, patio and outdoor surfacing services in Kent. Its RankTalon workspace contains a saved audit of drivewayandpatiokent.co.uk. This example shows what that report makes visible.
The starting point
The saved scan covers a website with several service and information pages. Looking at the homepage alone would not show which other pages contain repeated metadata, missing image descriptions or canonical issues.
This case study uses the saved report as its evidence. It is not a comparison between two measured periods.
The workflow
The website address identifies the business being reviewed. RankTalon presents an overall report, groups recurring issues and provides a separate result for each page. This lets the person maintaining the website move from a general finding to the page that needs attention.
What RankTalon identified
The saved report shows 15 successfully checked pages, with 20 issues across 9 pages and 4 marked high priority. Examples include missing image alternative text, title-length issues, duplicate titles, duplicate canonical URLs and missing or repeated descriptions.
It also records a URL that did not return an HTML page, rather than treating that URL as a successful page check.
The observed output
The concrete result is a page-by-page list of findings that can guide a website review. This case study documents the audit output, rather than a measured improvement in rankings or enquiries.
