User Data Deletion

Option 1 — Disconnect inside RankTalon

1. Open RankTalon and go to Integrations.
2. Find the Facebook and Instagram integration or the TikTok integration.
3. Select Disconnect and confirm the action.

This deletes the stored Meta OAuth connection, encrypted Facebook Page access tokens, Facebook Page metadata, and linked Instagram professional account metadata from the active RankTalon database. For TikTok, disconnecting removes the stored OAuth connection and provider metadata; videos published to TikTok or sent there as drafts remain subject to TikTok's own controls.

Option 2 — Remove access from the provider

For Facebook and Instagram:

1. Open Facebook and go to Settings & privacy → Settings.
2. Open Apps and websites.
3. Select RankTalon, choose Remove, and confirm.

For TikTok, open TikTok's connected-app or app-permissions controls, select RankTalon, and revoke access.

This revokes RankTalon's future access through that provider. TikTok posts and drafts already sent must be removed using TikTok's own controls.

Option 3 — Send a complete deletion request

Email contact@ranktalon.com with the subject “RankTalon data deletion” and provide the name of the Facebook Page, Instagram professional account, or TikTok account that was connected. Do not send passwords, access tokens, recovery codes, or payment information.

After verifying that you are authorised to act for the account, we will delete or anonymise the associated data that we are not legally required to retain. We normally complete verified requests within 30 days and confirm completion through the contact details you supplied.

What may remain temporarily

Encrypted backups, fraud-prevention records, and records required by law may remain for a limited period and will not be used for marketing or publishing. Content already published to Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok, and drafts already sent to TikTok, must also be removed through the relevant platform controls.
